A: The website migration service provided by ITMax Hosting is absolutely free and involves moving all your web files, databases and emails from your present hosting provider to your new hosting account with us. We’ll also fine–tune all the configuration settings required for your web sites to be fully functional on our next–generation cloud hosting platform.Our techs are fully capable of transferring any sort of web site. With years of work experience in this field, they are well–versed in the specificities of our hosting platform, our Control Panel and all other commonly used Control Panels. For them, transferring a custom–made app with multiple custom libraries is as easy as transferring a plain WordPress–based weblog.

A: While we cannot give you an exact ETA, because there are plenty of factors, including the size of the web files and databases, the physical location of the present host’s server, the complexity of your web site and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we will try our best to migrate your web site within 48 hours, and in some cases – within 24 hours (if the website content is not very large).

A: Yup. We will need to have the name of the website that you would like us to migrate. We will also need a way to log in to your old web hosting account so that we can get the content pertaining to your website.

A: In order for us to start the migration of your hosting account, you must already have an account with us. Opening an account with us requires that you to share virtually the same details you have provided to your old web hosting provider. We also have a very rigorous Privacy Policy, which describes how private data is used.

A: Nah. Your site will continue to be reachable online during the migration. As soon as everything is done on our end, we’ll notify you so that you can examine it and check for any problems. If everything is alright, all you will have to do is modify your domain name’s DNS records.

A: Nope. Apart from your login info for the Control Panel, we do not require anything. We will never touch base with your hosting provider. They won’t know anything about the migration either.

A: Yes. We support all traditional Linux–powered web hosting platforms. We do not support Windows–based hosting platforms, as we don’t offer Windows web hosting services ourselves.Additionally, we do not support proprietary web site creation and management user interfaces like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
