Each one of these three has certain pros with regard to the available packages that you could afterwards install, but what is common between them is that they are really secure and dependable and have vast communities that support them. The hosting Control Panel alternatives for the VPS accounts depend on your OS choice, so as to give you more flexibility. In case you order the virtual server with one OS and you need another one later, our tech support team can easily reinstall the VPS with the new one in a matter of minutes. We also offer the option to keep the Operating System on your server up-to-date weekly.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Servers
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server solutions - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They're all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they are completely free so they won't increase the low price of your new server, but also because they are really stable and secure. Each one of them is supported by a vast community of web developers, so you'll be given the option to choose from countless software packages that you can install on your server if the app that you want to work with has certain requirements. The Operating System will also determine what internet hosting Control Panel you can use because the Control Panels that we offer run on particular OSs only and because we want to give you as much versatility as possible, we offer several OSs and multiple Control Panels. If you get a server with a given Operating System, we will change it upon request in case it turns out that you need alternative one. We will also keep your OS updated on a weekly basis as a part of the optional Managed Services upgrade.
